Question by President Kenny: My dog bit a girl on my property?
So the Sunday night, around 9 o’clock at night. I was asleep and awakened by a man banging on my front door. I went to see what was going on, and he proceeds to tell me that my dog bit his daughter when she came on to my property. His daughter looked about 18 years old. He didn’t say if she broke the skin, and he wanted all these details about my dog.
The next day he left a letter on my front door saying that he took his daughter to the ER and that her wound was “oozing”.
My dog is a toy poodle and hes barks at everyone that walks by my house. His veterinarian said most small dogs are like that because they are very territorial.

Now the city wants me to turn in my dog for a 10 day quarantine that they will charge me 20 bucks a day for, as well as a 75 dollar fine for the bite, which I don’t have the money for.

The man was also telling me that “I had better have good home insurance”.

My dog is tied up to my porch, and there is even a Beware of Dog sign on the front gate!
Then animal control told me that even though my dog was tied up that he is still my responsibility.
