Officials prepare to offer most rescued Clifton dogs for adoption
CLIFTON — Most of the dogs rescued on Brighton Road last week were recovering nicely Monday, and most will be available for adoption as early as next week.

When you walk through the doors of the viewing area at the Perkiomenville Branch of the Montgomery County S.P.C.A., the sound of excitement is almost deafening. Between meows and barks, wet noses and paws grabbing for a quick pet through the cage wire, it’s impossible to ignore the pleas of abandoned, lost and stray animals that are waiting for “forever homes.”
