Question by : How do I stop my adolescent dog from “warning barks”?
I know for a fact they are warning barks. Example: I step out of my apartment and come back in a couple minutes later, no barking… If I do the same thing with my GF home she barks at me when I come in. She is a pit mix and inherently makes people uncomfortable if she barks, not ok in an apartment complex where we are not allowed to have her in the first place. It is in her nature to be a guard dog but that is not what I need nor do I want. Besides the warning barks she is incredibly well behaved and extremely easy to train. Any tips and/ or suggestions? Thanks!

What are you trying to get evicted, if you knew you could not have a dog with Pit Bull in it why would you get one.
