Curious. & No, I don’t have a dog. So I don’t need people saying, “Spay your dog!” because I do not have one.

can I use the “skunk recipe” to remove smell of dog urine?

Question by Pauline: can I use the “skunk recipe” to remove smell of dog urine?
What do ya think could I use the “skunk recipe” on old dog urine? I hate to have to pull up the carpet and throw out the chair. I’m going in for shoulder surgery and there is no way I’ll be able to stand the smell of that for the month I could be home. Any ideas?

I don’t think this will have any effect in removing the smell but you can still try and find out yourself.

The other way around is to stop your dog from doing it. I assume that you have not trained your dog and the only way to stop this in future is to house train him so that he does not do it again. There are many books available that will teach you how it is done at home without taking your dog to a training class. I was also stuck with the same problem in the past but I made use of a dog training guide that my friend gave me. Although it has a lot more but I only used it for making the dog eliminate outside.

Whats wrong with my dog?

Question by : Whats wrong with my dog?
my dog puked wednesday morning, which I thought was ok, because she ate grass the night before and I thought she had a tummy ache. but then today earlier this morning she puked on her bed, then she puked on the floor 30 minutes ago, then she went in her crate and puked a little more, its a greenish brown color, I don’t mind cleaning it up but I’m worried about her

we’ve had her for two weeks, she’s a 11 month old border collie, she’s spayed, so she’s not pregnant or something like that. she is very nervous still and is actually scared to death of everything, so maybe its just nerves. she was thrown out of a car window when she was younger, so she is really scared of people and I think she was abused, but she really is the sweetest and tamest dog I have ever met.

please help!

also we switched the food she was eating she eats “Innova Dry Dog Food” if that helps
ps. we did switch foods like that, but we ran out of her other food and don’t wanna go buy another bag of it, she seemed used to her new food though

It could be due to stress. It’s very stressful for some dogs to move from one home to an other. Especially if they are insecure.
It could also be because you switched her food. Did you mix it with the old food and change it gradually? or did you just change it? You should always change a dogs food gradually. I’d say mix the new and old foods together for every meal for about 1-2 weeks.

OR she may be sick. I would recommend a vet visit either way.
